I've been using Ulead VS8 to convert videos for quite some time, and I notice one funny thing is that when I convert videos using ulead, the output will usually have a horizontal black bar at the top and bottom. That happens even when the output resolution is the same as the source resolution.

and then VS9 can edit the resultant file, it's more of a nuscance than a real problem , but I'd like it to do what it says on the tin!

Also, I put a text title at the beginning of my movie and then I add a pic on the storyboard and the text goes ontop of my pic. How can I fix this? I ran out of patience.

I am using StudioVideo 7 and Capwiz on a external ADS ID2.

I have captured a few different videos and go through the rendering process. At the end of the render when it is ready to burn I get message saying "Drive is not ready". I have burned other projects and now I get this error.

I checked the drive by burning a CD with it and it burned fine. Anyway I have a 4 gb video i'm wanting to burn to DVD at 3mb/sec variable, 352 x 576, but when i go to ''Create Disc'' at the bottom the info is saying that i'm burning a 9 gb video. Ulead Video Studio 7 SE -- If I ask it to create a disk image, I get the very large file with a .iso extension on it. I can then use VS7 to copy that image back to disk.

Also, I read a lot about the AUDIO_VS and VIDEO_VS files, which certainly add up to equal what a single image file does.

So what can I do with each of the files and directories? I finished a 20-minute project in VS5 and saved it an an AVI file. One copy is saved on my HDD and one finished copy recorded back to my Sony D8 camcorder. Using Nero software on my CPU, I inputted my 20 minute project to this program and it told me it would convert the file.
