Because of "freezing" problems with DVD Express, I purchased a PYRO A/V Link (API 555 - although it came with Premier Elements 1.0, not 2.0) hoping that a 1394 interface would work better. Using Premiere Elements, I can only capture to an AVI format - HUGE file size for 2 hour video. I tried using ULEAD Video Studio 8 to capture to an MPEG2 and it works, however the quality of the captured video is poor compared to what I get from DVD Express using CapWiz. Any suggestions?
