I just bought the Pyro Av Link and I am having trouble with the playback on the television. All I am getting is colored vertical bars on my screen when I try to playback through my tv? The playback in Premiere works great, but for some reason when I try to go from a digital source to analog it is not working?
When I go from my firewire to Pyro breakout box (4-pin) digital input - Pyro breakout box rca output - to vcr rca input - vcr rca output - to tv input all I get is vertical colored bars? Now, if I have the exact same setup except instead of feeding from my computer, I feed from my analog camcorder it works fine? The analog seems to work, but when I try to input a digital source to output analog tv, it does not work? When I try the toggle button for analog and digital it seems to want to work when I select analog when coming from my computer (? go figure) but all I get is horizontal black bands that look like its trying to display video but can't quite produce a clear picture, and when I select digital all I get is the vertical color bars? The digital to analog is not working with this device. Why? What is wrong?
