Hi, I need help in finding the VTR mode on my JVC GR-DVP3U! I was editing video in Adobe Premiere, and I am trying to output the final product back out to the DV Camera, but nothing has worked so far. The only mode in which the edited video plays on the DV screen is if I put it into "Play" mode, but all I can do is just watch the edited video play. It does not record, and if I press "Record", the blank DV tape inside the camera just begins to play. If I go to any of the camera modes, it only records what is seen through the viewfinder and the edited video does not even show up.
Also, I am just pretty much confused in general about how to export files. When I just try to export a 10 minute video with decent quality, it takes much too long! I have a pretty fast computer (Dell, 1.2GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB drive), so I don't think it's because of the computer itself. If I try to export into a Microsoft DV AVI, it takes 3 hours for a 20 minute video!!! This isn't normal, is it??
